Miss Hannah Lee Duffey, Tap Instructor
Miss Hannah Lee began her dancing career in the 5th grade at Dance Etc., Wichita Falls, TX. She remained there for eight years studying ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical. Then God pointed Miss Hannah Lee in a whole other direction: cheerleading and theatre! She attended Howard Payne University, serving on the cheerleading squad for two years, and graduated with a double major in Christian Education and Theatre. During her time at HPU she spent a summer as an intern at CATS in Arlington and took a few dance lessons from the The Dance Company. A year later, when Miss Hannah Lee returned to the area to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, she was eager to enroll for more classes at The Dance Company. At SWBTS, Miss Hannah Lee is working towards a Master’s Degree in Christian Education.
Over the past ten years, Miss Hannah Lee has been heavily involved in children’s ministry, from teaching Bible classes to coaching Christian dance camps. She currently works as a dancer and choreographer for Uncle Charlie, a team that travels around the country leading kids in worship in exciting and interactive ways. Miss Hannah Lee is incredibly excited to have the opportunity to teach tap to young dancers. She is looking forward to instilling some great dance disciplines in her students as well as evoking in them the love of dance that she shares.
